Playing the Field
Logline
After dominating youth leagues and high school football, a young woman struggles with womanhood, studies, and acceptance while trying to find her place as quarterback on her new college team.
Synopsis
Jenna Ramey is born to play football. Her childhood is full of struggles to prove herself on the field to the boys who doubt her, but she shows her ability and earns their respect. Even in high school, she leads her team to many wins and makes a name for herself.
College football is a different story. The guys are bigger. Most don't know Jenna and don't want her there. Classes are difficult to juggle with her time on the field. She must pull herself together with the support of her dad in order to get through her freshman year and make a major mark in the football world for women, or prove what many think – that a woman can't handle playing football with the men.
