Al E. Gator
Logline
A young alligator ostracized from his own kind must rely on the help of a little girl and her family in order to save his swamp from the harmful ways of two slow-witted hunters.
Synopsis
Al is different from all of the other gators in the swamp. He doesn't want to kill so he becomes a vegetarian. Unable to take the teasing any longer, he leaves the swamp with his best pal, an Oscar by the name of Lewis.
8-year-old Olivia discovers the pair living in her swimming pool and does her best to keep them a secret from her parents. Once they find out and get past their initial shock, they learn to cope with their new guests.
However, back at the swamp, two dim-witted hunters are harvesting alligators for their skins, putting Al's family in danger. Al and Lewis must return home to try and save all who had laughed at them to prove they're deserving to be a part of the community, despite their differences.
